$2 billion spent on luxurious goods in China

The International Luxurious Goods Exhibition Beijing 2006 will be held in Beijing Hotel from June 23 to June 25, China Youth Daily reported.

A total of $8 billion was spent on luxurious goods globally in 2004. The amount amounted to $2 billion, or 25 percent of the gross amount in China.
