Chinese senior legislator meets Panaman guests

Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body, met in Beijing Tuesday with a Panaman parliamentary delegation.

The delegation is headed by Juan Carlos Arosemena, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Panaman Parliament.

The guests arrived here Monday for a China trip. Besides Beijing, they will also visit Shanghai, China's economic hub, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, two cities in South China's Guangdong Province.
