Premier meets with Kazakhstan FM

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Wednesday in Beijing with Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Kasymzhomart Kemelevich Tokayev.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of common concern.

Tokayev arrived in Beijing Tuesday for a three-day official visit. This is the Kazakh Foreign Minister's first visit to China since his country's new government was set up in 2003.

On Wednesday, Tokayev also met with State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan and conferred with his Chinese counterpart Li Zhaoxing.
