Georgian president leaves Beijing for Shanghai

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili left Beijing Thursday noon for Shanghai, continuing his six-day state visit in China.

During his stay in Beijing, Saakashvili met with Chinese President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao.

Saakashvili arrived in Beijing on Monday, starting his first official state visit to China.
