Economic figures: China's passenger traffic in waterways

China's passenger traffic in waterways in the first two months of 2006 was 40 million persons, increasing 9.7 percent compared with the same period of preceding year.

The passenger-kilometers in waterways in the first two months was 1.15 billion passenger-km, increasing 7.8 percent compared with the same period of preceding year.
