Chinese NPC vice-chairman meets Philippine senate president

Lu Yongxiang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met with President of the Senate of the Philippines Franklin Drilon in Beijing Sunday.

Drilon, heading a delegation, pays the visit at the invitation of Wu Bangguo, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.

The delegation will visit Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province and Lhasa, capital city of northwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region during the visit from April 15 to 22.
