Sheng Huaren, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met Monday with an Indian business delegation led by Saral Kumar Podder, president of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Sheng is also secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the NPC, the national legislature.
