Vice-Chairman of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee Xu Jialu met Monday with Dirk Sterckx, chairman of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with China.

At the invitation of the NPC Group for Relations with the European Parliament, Sterckx started a friendly visit to China from April 17.
