Senior CPC official meets Romanian guests

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with a Romanian Social Democratic Party delegation led by the party's Vice-President Ilie Sarbu.

Wang spokes positively on the relations between China and Romania, and ties between the CPC and various Romanian political parties.

He also expressed his appreciation to the party's support to China and efforts to promote China-Romania relations, noting that the CPC will continue to promote the party exchanges and cooperation between China and Romania to help boost the bilateral relations.

Sarbu briefed the Wang on the plans to foster the party relations, vowing to continue to make efforts to push forward the China-Romania friendship.
