Lien Chan visits Fuzhou city
font size

The Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party Honorary Chairman Lien Chan visited the city of Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian Province on Tuesday morning.

Lien and his party firstly visited China shipping culture museum, where a large number of precious cultural relics, photos, models and simulated scenes showcase the achievements of China's marine and ship making industry.

After listening to the introduction of the museum as well as the stories of many who devote themselves to this undertaking, Lien gave high comments to the museum.

He said the museum displays the hardship and difficulties of the modernization of China's ship making industry and it is important to learn from the past stories.

After that, Lien visited the Yongquan Temple.

Lien left for Xiamen on Tuesday afternoon and will attend an ancestor worship ceremony Wednesday in Zhangzhou City.
