Indonesian VP leaves for China to inspect subway system

Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla left Jakarta for China Tuesday morning to inspect the subway system and seek deal on China's support in Indonesia's subway development.

Kalla was accompanied by Transportation Minister Hatta Radjasa, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu and Energy Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro.

Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso, a strong supporter for the subway development in the capital city, is also among the entourages.

Kalla will begin his trip from Shanghai, where he will directly inspect the city's subway system.

He will stay in China until Saturday.
