font size

China and the United States on Tuesday afternoon signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in deployment of air marshals.

Under the MOU, the two countries will cooperate in the deployment of air marshals on board their respective flights entering and exiting the territory of the other side.

The signing of the document is one of the major achievements the two countries have made under within the framework of Sino-U.S. long and medium-term anti-terror exchange and cooperation.

It will help strengthen security on commercial airliners entering and exiting the territories of the U.S. and China.
