Micronesian president visits NW ChinaMicronesian President Joseph J. Urusemal visited Northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Monday, saying he was deeply impressed by the province's profound history and culture. Governor of Shaanxi province Chen Deming held a banquet to welcome Urusemal. Chen said he hopes Urusemal's current visit will further boost trade and economic cooperation between Micronesia and Shaanxi Province. Urusemal arrived in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi on Sunday evening, after attending the 2006 annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia. He visited the famous museum displaying terracotta warriors and horses of the Qin Dynasty and a local history museum earlier Monday.
