The Communist Party of China (CPC) is seeking to enhance ties with major parties of Slovenia, a senior CPC official said in Beijing Tuesday.

Wang Jiarui, head of the international department of the CPC Central Committee, said the CPC wishes for further exchanges and cooperation with major Slovenian parties in a meeting with a delegation from the Democratic Pensioners Party of Slovenia headed by its general secretary Pavel Brglez.

Wang briefed the guests the CPC's key goals and methods in building a harmonious socialist society.

Brglez congratulated the CPC on its achievements in leading China and hoped both sides could share their experience of government.
