Turkey on Tuesday strongly condemned three bombing attacks in the Egyptian Sinai resort town of Dahab, which killed at least 23 people and injured scores of others.
"We curse all kind of terrorism regardless of its motives. These attacks confirm the necessity of cooperation between all members of international community," a statement by Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
The triple explosions took place almost simultaneously at around 7:15 p.m. local time (1715 GMT) on Monday in Dahab, some 85 km north of Sharm el-Sheikh, another popular Red Sea resort in Sinai.
The bombings were the second such attack in Sinai in less than one year.
On July 23, 2005, Sharm el-Sheikh was hit by three bombings, leaving at least 60 people dead and more than 200 others wounded.
