font size

President of Micronesia Joseph J. Urusemal said in Beijing Wednesday that Micronesia recognizes China as a full market economy.

Urusemal, who is here on an unofficial visit to China after attending the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia, made the remark in his talks with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Praising China's remarkable achievements in reform and opening-up, Urusemal said Micronesia is ready to further enhance exchanges and friendly cooperation with China in economy, trade, tourism and education.
