Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Thursday the Chinese government hopes Nepal can attain quickly national conciliation and achieve peace, stability and development.

Qin said China, as Nepal's friend and neighbour, was willing to work with the Nepalese authorities to promote China-Nepal friendship and cooperation.
