    Maiden test-flight of Xiaolong/FC-4 fighter successful

    An improved version of China-developed new-generation fighter plane, the Xiaolong/FC-4 fighter, succeeded in its first flight on Friday in Southwest China's Sichuan Province.

    Bird flu pandemic re-hits UK

Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs made an announced at the press release conference the same day that H7 strain of bird flu has been founded the UK recently and the chicken on the farm there have died of the pandemic.     Stuntman hurt critically in accident

    The car of Serbia and Montenegro stuntman Zeljko Bozic fell into the river during his stunt show at International Stunt Festival in Belgrade on April 27. Zeljko drives his off a bridge some 25 metres above the river and the car accidentally caught on fire and exploded. The Serbian stuntman was severely injured and now he still remains unconscious. The doctors still struggle for his life.

    Artistic cattle parade held in Paris

The cattle will be shown till June 16 and be auctioned off on June 30. The money will be donated to charity.     Health checkup for giant panda

"Xiang Xiang", a four-year-old male giant panda which is bred and raised at the center, has received training for living in the wild, the first of its kind in the world.
