China's Ministry of Public Security Sunday night dispatched a hue and cry with a reward of 300,000 yuan (37,500 US dollars) after a man suspected of sabotaging Beijing-Kowloon railway.
Wu Guochang, nicknamed "watermelon skin", 42, is suspected of committing the crime of destructing railroad on March 24 in Jiangxi section of Beijing-Kowloon railway, a key passenger and cargo rail artery in China, attempting to get a passenger train derailed.
Wu is also suspected of being implicated in a series of arson cases in Jiande City of east China's Zhejiang Province.
Wu escaped by a red gasoline-fuled bicycle soon after committing the crime in Ji'an, a city in east China's Jiangxi Province, according to the Ministry of Public Security.
The ministry also made public Wu's photo and sketched portrait.
