Wang Zhaoguo, president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), met Wednesday with a delegation of the workers union of the Fujitsu Ltd., a leading IT company in Japan.
The 520-member Japanese delegation, led by Aramomi Kazuo, chairman of the Fujitsu workers union, paid the visit to China at the invitation of the ACFTU from May 3 to 6.
Sun Chunlan, vice president of the ACFTU, said when addressing the welcoming banquet that the workers unions of China and Japan have maintained long-term exchanges and cooperation, and the Fujitsu workers union have played positive role in promoting such exchanges with the Chinese side.
Sun said this visit of the Fujitsu workers union would help increase mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries and push for the development of friendship between the two peoples.
The delegation members would visit other provinces and regions of China to make exchanging activities with local workers unions.
