Zimbabwe companies urged to improve marketing skills
font size

Zimbabwe's national trade development and promotion body ZimTrade launched the Export Marketing Training Program (EMTP) on Wednesday as the organization cited the lack of marketing skills as a major obstacle to export.

"We believe that the products of many companies including, small and medium enterprises, do not go beyond national borders because of lack of export marketing skills and knowledge of the global market," said ZimTrade board member Mercy Hativagone.

The program is aimed to address these training needs to enable the companies to enter international markets in a successful and sustainable manner.
