New Zealand held off China 2-0 to reach the men's final of the LA Menthol Beach Volleyball Asia Pacific Tournament on Saturday in DENPASAR, BALI.

In Sunday's final, New Zealand will face Indonesian Team 2 who beat Indonesian Team 1 2-1 to claim the final berth.

In the women's competition, Malaysia stopped Thailand Team 1 to reach the final but Thailand Team 2 saw off Indonesian Team 1 to advance.

The tournament, due from May 4 to 7, was held by the Asian Volleyball Confederation. The prizemoney stands at 20,000 US dollars.
