The Polish Embassy in Beijing held a reception Monday in Beijing to mark the National Day of Poland.

More than 100 officials from the two countries, diplomats of other embassies in China and representatives from international organizations attended the reception. Polish Ambassador to China Krzysztof Szumski addressed the reception.

Poland enacted its first constitution on May 3, 1791. On Dec. 29, 1989, the parliament of Poland passed an amendment to the constitution and set May 3 as the National Day of Poland.
