Students trapped by heavy snow in Xinjiang rescued
Stranded students were transferred to a safe place in Hejing county of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region May 8, 2006. 15 coaches with 450 students back school were trapped on No. 218 state road in Hejing county because of heavy snow Sunday morning. Emergency action were carried out immediately by local government, all the students had been transferred to safe places by 22:00 Monday.
