Lenovo recently launched a promotion for its Thinkpad series notebooks in the United States, which will save buyers up to $800.

Lenovo launched the promotion to mark the one-year founding anniversary of the new Lenovo. The promotion covers ThinkPad T, X and Z series notebooks. Promotion is not price war. Lenovo will stick to the high-end business route, said officials with Lenovo.
