Senior CPC official meets Portuguese guests

Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met on Wednesday afternoon with a delegation of the Socialist Party of Portugal.

The delegation was headed by Jose Lello, member of the national political committee of the Party and secretary of the Party's International Department.

Liu, also member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged views with Jose Lello on relations between the two countries and the two parties.

The delegation arrived here on Tuesday for a visit to China at the invitation of the CPC.
