Zhang Yesui, vice foreign minister of China, met Wednesday with Roland Koch, minister-president of Germany's Hessen state.

They spoke highly of China-Germany relations. Koch said Hessen state is willing to develop friendly cooperation in various fields with China. They also exchanged views on international issues of common concern.

Koch is invited by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
