China will boost cooperation with Tunisia to lift bilateral relations to a new height, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said Thursday.

While holding talks with his counterpart Abdelwaheb Abdallah in Beijing, Li extended his appreciation for Tunisia's support of China on the issues concerning Taiwan and human rights, pledging more cooperation between the two countries in telecommunications, textile and tourism.

China and Tunisia will enhance coordination and cooperation in multilateral affairs within the framework of China-Africa Cooperation Forum and China-Arab Cooperation Forum, Li added.

Abdallah spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in international affairs and trade, noting Tunisia will continue to stick to one-China policy.
