Ismail Amat, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met Friday with a delegation headed by Tan Atac, chairwoman of Turkish-Chinese Women's Friendship and Culture Association.

The delegation is visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries from May 11 to 19.

Besides Beijing, they will visit Shanghai and Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
