Domestically-made ReNu removed

Bausch & Lomb China claimed yesterday all but rare home-made ReNu MoestureLoc contact lens solution will be removed from stores from May 12, followed by the withdrawal of the imported products on April 12.

Although there is no evidence showing the eye infections linked to ReNu MoestureLoc contact lens solution, Bausch & Lomb China said, the company is still taking active prevention measures to stop sales of domestically-made solution because it is not easy for consumers to tell the differences between the imported and home-made solutions.

The company has already withdrawn almost all the imported solution in China.
