font size

Beijing Olympic committee chief Liu Qi said Friday that the 2008 Olympic Games would provide good media facilities.

Liu, president of the Beijing organizing committee for the 2008 Olympics, gave these remarks during a meeting with Ishikawa Satoshi, the president of the Japanese News Agency, Kyodo.

"We welcome media from around the world, including Kyodo, to continue to show concern and support for the Games," said Liu, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee.

Satoshi said Kyodo will prepare itself to deliver an comprehensive coverage on the Olympics to Japanese audiences.
