Pakistani flag airlines announces ticket fares rise for S. America, Britain destinationsPakistan International Airlines ( PIA), the flag carrier in Pakistan, has announced rise in ticket fares for flights to London and South America destinations, local TV channel reported on Saturday. According to a circular notice issued by PIA to all booking officers and travel agents, 8,000 rupees (about 133 U.S. dollars) has been increased on two-way ticket of economy class for Chicago while 12,000 rupees (about 200 U.S. dollars) on two-way ticket of the economy class for Toronto, the GEO TV reported. A 5,000 rupee (about 83 U.S. dollars) rise has also been made on two-way ticket of economy class to different cities of Britain including London destinations from Pakistan's Islamabad and Lahore, it said.
