Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology Joseph Wong left for Beijing on Tuesday for his first official visit to the capital since taking up this post in January.

During his two-day stay in Beijing, Wong plans to visit the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Radio Film and Television, the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.

He is set to discuss matters of mutual interests with his ministerial counterparts.
