British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Anwar Choudhury noted with disappointment that the terrorist attacks on him two years back and other attacks still remained unresolved, local newspaper The Independent reported Monday.
"We are disappointed that this and other unresolved terrorist attacks continue to tarnish the image of Bangladesh which has recently made progress on tackling terrorism," Choudhury said.
The Bangladesh-origin British diplomat expressed the frustration in a press statement issued Sunday to mark the second anniversary of attack on him.
A deadly grenade attack on him on May 21, 2004 in Sylhet, 350 km north-east of Dhaka, injured the envoy and killed three other people.
"We hope it is not too long until these cases are resolved and those killed and injured receive justice," he said.
He expressed his gratitude for the touching support from Bangladeshi people, following the incident.
