China and Mongolia will push forward their relations as the countries and peoples have strong aspiration for cooperation and common development, said a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Monday.
China and Mongolia have increased their political trust and economic cooperation in recent years, said Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
Liu made the remarks in a meeting with S. Oyun, chairwoman of the Citizens Will Party of Mongolia. Liu is also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
The development of neighborly friendly relations with China takes up prior position in Mongolia's diplomacy, said Oyun, who arrived in Beijing Monday for a five-day visit as guest of the CPC.
The Citizens Will Party will work closely with the CPC and lift bilateral relations to a new level, Oyun said.
