46.6-bln-ton coalfield found in Xinjiang

Xinjiang Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources has found a large coal field with proven reserves of some 46.6 billion tons in Altay recently, and it is the first time to find tens of billions tons strong of coal field in the region.

With a total investment of some 150 million yuan, Xinjiang Construction and Production Corps have signed cooperation agreement with several domestic enterprises specialising in mineral resources.
