A Chinese trade union delegation, led by Su Liqing, deputy chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, arrived in Sofia on a visit to Bulgaria on Thursday, said the Confederation of Labour, "Support."
This is the highest-level visit ever by a Chinese trade union delegation to Bulgaria, "Support" was quoted by BTA as saying.
The agenda of the visit includes political and experts meetings with the "Support" Executive Board and sessions with Labour and Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova and Parliament's Social Policy Committee Chairman Hassan Ademov.
The two sides will discuss trade union strategies for the privatization of enterprises and economic restructuring, social dialogue with multinational companies, and the protection of labour interests in the conditions of capital globalization.
The Chinese delegation is returning a working visit by "Support" President Konstantin Trenchev to China in November 2005.
