    Earthquake death toll in Indonesia rises to 3,000

    An injured woman is treated at Panti Rapih Hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on early morning May 28, 2006. The powerful earthquake that struck the Indonesian ancient province of Yogyakarta early Saturday morning killed more than 3,000 people, becoming the country's worst disaster since the December 2004 tsunami that killed 131,000 people on Sumatra.

    A first folio edition of plays by William Shakespeare is on display in Hong Kong on May 25, 2006, ahead of its auction in London. The book is thought to be the best preserved that have ever been put up for sale and has an estimated worth of 35-49 million HK dollars.

    Quake kills more than 3,000 in Indonesia

    Over 3,000 people have been killed in the powerful earthquake that shook Yogyakarta province, Indonesia, early Saturday morning, an official from the Social Affairs Ministry said on Saturday.
