Ismail Amat, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, met Wednesday with a delegation of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) headed by vice-chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim.
The two sides exchanged views during their meeting on China-Pakistan relations and other issues of common concern.
The delegation is visiting China at the invitation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee from May 26 to June 2.
Besides Beijing, they will visit Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and Shanghai municipality, the country's economic hub.
