    6,200 killed in Indonesian Earthquake

    Some Indonesian soldiers rescue a wounded person in the earthquake-stricken district on June 1. According to the latest statistics from Indonesian government, 6, 234 people are killed in the quake, while 46,000 are wounded.

    Ship "China progress" delivered

    The giant bulk carrier of 175,000 tons, "China progress" built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co Ltd, is handed over to a Taiwan-based shipping company on June 1. Through building "China peace" in 2005 and "China progress" in 2006, shipbuilders in the Chinese mainland and shipping companies in Taiwan have established a platform to strengthen cooperation and exchange.

    ISS crew complete space walk
