China Aviation Industry Corporation (CAIC) II and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in the USA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on civil helicopter cooperation. The two sides will strengthen cooperation on development, production, subcontract and after-sales services.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, subsidiary of United Technologies Corp (UTC) in the USA, is the leading helicopter manufacturer worldwide. The cooperation between Sikorsky and CAIC II started in 1994 when the two sides subcontracted the production of S-76 and S-92 helicopters, establishing good relations on mutual trust since then.
