Dell promotes fastest laptop in China

The world's computer giant, Dell, launched its XPS personal laptop series in Beijing on Friday, a move insiders say shows the company's confidence in the Chinese computer game market.

The XPS series, including its fastest product, are specially designed for computer gamers.

Computer games have become a principal feature of computer use for many Chinese. By 2005, China had 26.34 million Internet game players, with the game sales reaching 3.77 billion yuan (471 million U.S. dollars).
