Revenue of major state-owned enterprises grows fast

According to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), 454 major state-owned enterprises operate well during the first four months this year, keeping a sound and fast growth in both sales and export.

In particular the industries of petroleum and petrochemical, power, automobile, machinery and non-ferrous metal have recorded remarkable profits. The petroleum and petrochemical sector reported profits of 99.34 billion yuan, increased by 28.3% year on year.
