Explosion hits Gaza Strip refugee camp, killing Hamas member

An explosion hit the northern Gaza Strip refugee camp of Jabalya on Monday, killing a Hamas member and wounding several others, Palestinian witnesses said.

Palestinian security sources in Jabalya said that the explosion occurred in the house of Ahmed Sari, a member of Izedein al-Qassam, armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The cause of the explosion remained unknown.
