China to explore big silver-copper mine

Jiangxi Bureau of Geology and Minerals Exploration and Development (abbreviated to BGMED here) revealed on June 6 that it would work with China Gold Group and Jiangxi Copper to explore the mine which lies in Jiujiang County in Jiangxi province and has a potential value of more than 20 billion yuan.

It took the local geological prospecting team 10 years to discover the the mine named Jinjiwo with an estimated reserve of 290,000 tons of pure copper and 610 tons of silver.
