Kyrgyz President concludes 2-day China tour

Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev left Saturday afternoon, concluding his two-day state visit to China.

During his visit, Bakiyev held talks with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, met with China's top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao on the bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.

Bakiyev also addressed a China-Kyrgyzstan economic and trade forum on Saturday morning.

Bakiyev arrived here on Friday afternoon at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

This is Bakiyev's first visit to China since he assumed the post in 2005.
