RMB against dollar hits below 8 yuan again

The Foreign Exchange Trade Center announced by the authority of the People's Bank of China on June 15 that the parity rate of the Chinese currency on the inter-bank foreign exchange market is 7.9999 yuan against 1 US dollar.

The parity prices of the RMB against other currencies are quoted at 10.0767 yuan against 1 euro; 6.9522 yuan against 100 Japanese yen; 7.9982 yuan against 1 HK dollar.

This is the second time that the yuan's value against the dollar has risen to break through the psychological line of 8yuan. On May 15, the parity once reached 7.9982 yuan against one US dollar.
