China appoints senior officials to development and reform commission, central bank

China's State Council, or the Central Government, has appointed Chen Deming and Zhang Mao vice-chairmen of the National Development and Reform Commission.

It has also appointed Liu Shiyu vice governor of the People's Bank of China, China's central bank.
