Lebanon will file a complaint against Israel over recent assassinations of Hezbollah and Palestinian militants in the country, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said on Saturday.
"We consider this (Israeli assassination) as an act of aggression," Siniora told reporters.
"We are working on the file and once it is completed we will submit a complaint to the United Nations Security Council," he added.
In recent years, several Palestinian militants and Hezbollah members have been killed in Lebanon by the attacks which Israel has been blamed for.
The Lebanese army said in a statement on Tuesday that it had dismantled a network used by Israel's Mossad intelligence agency to carry out attacks in Lebanon, mainly against Hezbollah and pro- Syrian Palestinian groups.
It said that members of the network had admitted responsibility for the May 26 attack that killed Mahmoud Mjzoub, leader of the Islamic Jihad in Sidon, 40 km south of Beirut, and his brother Nidal.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh said on Friday that previous intrusions by Israeli military planes into Lebanese airspace might be connected with the network's activities.
Israel, however, has denied any involvement in the accident.
