Nepal to add 3,000 female teachers soonSome 3,000 female teachers will be added very soon to the existing vacancies in the primary level of government school of Nepal, senior government official said here Monday. "The decision was made because teaching was effective from women teachers," Mangal Siddhi Manandhar, minister for education and sports said at a function. Such temporary teachers under grant quota will be made permanent after fulfilling processes, Manandhar said at the inauguration function of the two-day Planning Management Orientation Workshop of School Management Committee Chairmen and Principal organized by local Lalitpur District Education Office. "The decision was made as complaints were heard of few teachers as compared to students and only women would be appointed this time to increase women's participation," Manandhar noted.
